About Legacy Miner
The mining crews that came before you are gone. Their wreckage is still on the surface, their tunnels are still down there, and the only way home is a rocket nobody has built yet.
Legacy Miner is a 2D mining game for 1–16 players. You drive a little rig with a drill, a fuel tank, and a cargo hold, and everything you do comes back to one decision: every ore you haul up can be sold for cash to upgrade your rig, or fed into the crew's shared stockpile to push everyone toward the launch pad. Keep it and you dig faster. Give it up and the whole team moves forward.
Dig. Sell. Upgrade. Repeat.
The planet gets richer the deeper you go, coal and iron near the surface, silver and gold further down, titanium, uranium and stranger things near the bottom. Harder rock needs a better drill, longer trips need a bigger tank, and both need money, so you're always planning one run ahead: how deep can I get, and can I make it back before the fuel gauge does?
Build your way home
Progress runs through five shared world tiers. Establish the Base, fire up the Furnace, unlock the Crafter, then start bolting the rocket together stage by stage — frame, engines, fuel system, navigation core. Each tier changes what you can actually do, not just the numbers, and the final stages send you after the deepest, nastiest ores on the planet.
Online co-op that actually shares the work
Host a world and friends drop, join, leave, and rejoin mid-game, your rig is saved either way. Everyone owns their own rig and their own money; the stockpile, furnace, crafter and rocket belong to the crew. A contribution leaderboard at the Base keeps things friendly (or not). Requirements scale with the player count, so a full lobby is busier, not easier. Solo works great too, same journey, just quieter.
The deep doesn't want you there
Lava pockets, gas that goes off like a landmine, darkness your headlamp barely dents, and the constant math of fuel vs. cargo vs. distance home. Dying is expensive. Turning back too early is also expensive. Good luck.
Ancient portals
Rare portal are buried in the terrain. Step through and the whole crew gets pulled into a sealed relic vault, a puzzle room. Solve it, grab the relic, and get out before the place comes down on your heads. Relics grant permanent perks for the entire crew.
