Descend the Pit — a duelist roguelite in a neon-rotted district. One floor, one duel: read the telegraph, spend your stamina, break their poise. Bank your cred and extract, or push deeper where the Hunger waits. Every scrap of wealth up top is something the Pit spat back.

The district is built around the Pit — a hole punched through the world that has never once filled. VANTA feeds every city on the map with V-9, the drug the street calls the Hunger, and the desperate feed themselves to the Pit chasing its source. You go down to scrap the dead and make rent. Like everyone before you.
No hordes, no filler. Every floor of the descent is a single fight that matters. Learn each creature's telegraphs — jump the low sweep, duck the high cut, dash through the rush — and answer with your own reads.
Stamina makes each blow a spend: heavier steel costs more wind, charged strikes cost the most, and an empty tank leaves you swinging in slow motion with the whole floor watching. Break their poise before they break yours.
After every kill, the elevator asks the only question that matters: bank the cred and walk out clean, or ride deeper where the pay — and the things — get worse. Die down there and the Pit keeps everything you carried.
Between runs, surface into the neon: keepers who sell steel and stims, gene-brokers who rewrite your bloodline, and the ones who wait by the rail for people who aren't coming back.
Ten floors down, something old wakes up — announced by name, fought in the dark. The Tarnished Widow nests where the district's floor gives out. The Sunken Colossus has moss on its shoulders and your warmth in its shadow.
The Operator logs your kills for quota. A huntress camps outside the freight elevator, one floor ahead of you, hunting something with your face. The deeper you go, the less the story is about the Pit — and the more it's about what keeps climbing out.
