In Send Forth the Brave, you take on the role of an Adventurers’ Guild administrator. By combining the cards in your hand, you assemble teams to complete the commissions brought by your clients—all while dealing with negative reviews and their many special abilities.
The game blends deckbuilding with the process of organizing adventuring parties for guild commissions, offering a distinctive and satisfying experience.
When faced with a client’s request, you must:
— Place the right cards into your assignment folder. Weapons, items, soldiers, heroes… combine them into a team that meets the commission’s requirements.
— Cards require preparation time. Wait until the preparation rounds are over before sending your team on a mission.
— Assign your team to the commission. Once the job is complete, they will earn you gold and positive reviews.
— Ordinary soldiers and items can be reassigned at any time. Unique heroes, however, will only return to your roster after completing their assignments.
Fulfill your clients’ strange and varied requests to earn gold and positive reviews. Different client types behave differently—some start leaving negative reviews from the very first turn, some reduce their rewards over time, and others may even try to poach your best team members… Carefully handle their tricks, deploy your cards wisely, assemble the right teams, and claim every coin and every positive review.
Strength, Agility, or Wisdom? Each path grants different bonuses and attracts different heroes to your guild. Progress along your chosen path, raise your rank, earn respect, and unlock legendary heroes, weapons, and items!
Hire new personnel and purchase new items and weapons from a variety of shops to build a powerful, well-rounded adventuring team capable of satisfying increasingly demanding clients!
Manage your days wisely! Opening for business is a solid choice, but there is much more to do: take part in random events, accept gifts, visit wondrous shops to expand your roster, and perhaps even encounter mysterious clients who may offer relics imbued with great power… A wide variety of events and paths await.
