Barbarian Lands Demo

Barbarian Lands is a solo development project I'm working on in my spare time. The game is a challenge hardcore, single-player ARPG set in a barbarian open world. The game features Tibia like combat with a lot of different weapons, exploration to find anything, horizontal and vertical, an risk/reward progression system. Players take on the role of a barbarian who is going to fight as a mercenary in a bloody war on the north, on the way though, he finds a village where the inhabitants are going through a macabre situation, a wizard with power to create new species is kidnapping them, to use in his experiments creating grotesque hybrid creatures that are powerful and horrendous. The inhabitants don't know what to do, and desperate, they see the barbarian as a possibility of a reaction.

DEMO:

The Barbarian Lands demo shows a small section at the beginning of the game, the area around the main village is open for exploration and hunting for XP and items, as well as it's underground caves.

Hardcore RPG:

Barbarian Lands provides a challenging experience, each enemy found can be a battle for life.

Exploration vertical and Horizontal

In Barbarian Lands you can go from one floor to another on the map instantly, without any loading, which makes the possibilities for exploration very broad; in any area there may be a hole or a hidden passage or a staircase that gives you access to a new area up or down.

Lose XP upon death:

When you die, you lose part of the experience you acquired. Gaining levels is not easy and requires risk.

Hidden Equipment:

The best equipments and weapons in Barbarian Lands are not easily found. It is necessary to explore the most dangerous areas.

Different ways to play:

There are different possible play styles and strategies, allowing you to choose different classes and weapons to use.
