Tim opened the one book in the archive he had been told not to stay away from, and let out Kaelvorn, an ancient conqueror who had spent the better part of a thousand years sealed inside it. His manager fired him before lunch. The world started ending shortly after.
He is not a hero. He has no plan and no relevant qualifications. But the only thing that can put Kaelvorn back is an old relic that shattered into three pieces long ago, and those pieces are scattered across a world Tim had no intention of visiting.

You know how it is, full of institutions doing their jobs badly, doomsday cults, a crumbling gladiatorial arena, a thieves' guild staffed entirely by rodents. Forbidden archives, a forgotten cathedral, and the Abyssal Depths, full of goblins and undead folk. Tim has to get through all of it, mostly by talking and solving puzzles.

A classic point and click adventure, built on exploring, talking to people, and working out what goes where. The puzzles reward attention and a sideways kind of thinking. No moon logic, no pixel hunting, no deaths, no fail states. If you get stuck, you already have what you need. You just haven't looked at it the right way yet.
Every line is fully voiced, even if they are just saying something silly.

Act I is on Steam right now, free, start to finish. It covers the archive, the first day, the mistake, and the moment everything stops being ordinary. If you want to find out whether the writing and the puzzles are for you, that is the place to do it.

Hi, I'm Pablo. I'm a solo developer and a professional game designer, and Broken Relic is the adventure I always wanted to play and could never quite find. Every puzzle, every line, and every pixel is made by hand. If classic adventures ever felt like home to you, add it to your wishlist. I'll let you know the moment it's ready.

Steam lists the Broken Relic release date as 2026.
