A simple, story-driven adventure set in 2000s Japan! Reconnect with neighbors, surf the web and play minigames in a comedic-yet-bittersweet tale about a girl and her grandma living with Alzheimer's.
A danchi is a Japanese mass apartment complex, home to many neighbors. But it's not always cheerful! Danchis are home to societal challenges, from aging populations, to dementia and loneliness.
The world of Danchi Days is full of people from all walks of life - from quirky seniors teaching you about the pleasures of chatting, to brooding high-schoolers who desire nothing more than to escape their hometown! In her quest to revive her hometown's summer festival, Hoshino will meet all sorts of faces.

Hoshino's dad made "NeighborNet" - a place where neighbors share their websites! Search keywords to find pages to surf, and learn more about your world. But watch out! Some websites are... darker, malevolent, even. Not everyone views life so positively...
Our heroine, Hoshino, also hopes to become a Sense Master! By focusing in on the mundane world around her, she can delight in unique "Sense Games", where she'll bump into trees to smell them, collect beads of condensation from iced tea, and even listen to the sounds of neighbors' toilets! You never know what you'll encounter in these everyday minigames.

A lively 6th grader! Her dad's job took them both to the USA for 5 years, but recently, they've returned to her hometown of Another Danchi to live with her grandmother.

Former kindergarten principal and Hoshino's beloved grandma! She's been living with dementia for a few years, but back when she was healthy, Hoshino and Rio learned all sorts of things from her.

Born and raised in Another Danchi, Rio and Hoshino were close childhood friends. But ever since she moved back to the danchi, Rio's been acting distant towards Hoshino and her grandma...

It's Moro-Q! One day, he suddenly appeared to help Hoshino with organizing the summer festival. However, he seems to remember little of his past.
