DeathMaze Dungeon Crawler is a brutal top-down action roguelike shooter in which you explore dark, procedurally generated dungeons linked together into dangerous sequences.
In the HUB, you prepare for each expedition by choosing your weapons, ammunition, tools, and supplies. You then activate a runestone that generates a chain of dungeons with different threats, conditions, and rewards.
During a run, you fight monsters using firearms and melee weapons, manage a limited inventory, recover lost gear after death, use transport drones, and activate anchor portals to push deeper and deeper into an alien dimension.
The farther you go, the fewer resources you will find, the deadlier your enemies will become, and the greater the Demon’s wrath you will bring upon yourself.
DeathMaze focuses on fast, responsive combat and instant weapon switching. Different enemy types require different tools of destruction, and quickly adapting your loadout is key to survival.
The dungeons are connected into sequences that become increasingly dangerous. Resources grow scarce, enemies become stronger, and death may cost you your entire loadout. If the runestone still has energy left, you can return to recover your gear, but every step forward increases the risk.
Every run begins with planning. In the HUB, you choose your weapons, ammunition, tools, and supplies, then activate a runestone that creates a sequence of dungeons with different conditions, threat levels, and rewards.
Drones allow you to deliver gear from the HUB to selected dungeons or send valuable loot back to storage, but using them comes with risk and drains more of the runestone’s energy. Activated anchor portals let you return deeper into the sequence instead of starting over from the beginning.
Your presence and the use of powerful devices increase the wrath of this dimension’s ruler. As that wrath rises, the dungeon begins to tremble, a terrifying roar echoes through the halls, and a deadly horde descends upon you. In those moments, positioning, barricades, traps, and preparation are all that matter.
Demonic Cards let you modify the conditions of individual dungeons or entire sequences. They can increase loot, alter the weather, affect danger levels and rewards, but they usually come at a price. Every decision changes the nature of the expedition and the level of risk.
