◆ Story
"It's just a replica — but I loved it more than the real thing."
Rei Shiotani is a high school boy who loves replica guns more than anything.
Law-abiding — exemplary — unremarkable —
Then, a turning point arrives.
"You've got a good eye, Rei. No doubt about it."
Standing there was Kotaro — a huge man with an oblivious look on his face.
A salesman's smile, and a scout's gaze...
"A friend of mine runs a business. Want to try working part-time there?"
The flattery was excessive, and deep down Rei didn't trust it — but he had no choice but to jump at the offer.
Someone had recognized his talent. That alone was enough.
What lies ahead — a summer vacation of just fifteen days.
What will Rei see — and what will he choose not to see?
◆ Characters

He has an exceptional eye for things, but the one thing he cannot read is the warmth people give off.
Satsuki Aihara
"A backwater. That's what I call this place."
A woman working at the harbor depot, looking somehow worn out.
A young carer who looks after her divorced mother; attentive and dependable.
Yuzen Momoki
"I've chased that back all my life. Wanting to catch up to it."
The man who hired Rei — the one standing at the top of the harbor depot.
Still young, he strives to one day catch up to the father he respects.
Kotaro Tsurube
"No need to freeze up. Believe it or not, we're all about your age."
The man who invited Rei to the part-time job at the depot.
Bright and comical — the depot's mood-maker.
Peko Tanaka
"You're all saying complicated things…… What's this about?"
The daughter of Koji Tanaka, the depot's investor.
Haughty, yet somehow impossible to hate.
That Guy
