Cards will glow blue if their suit is trump.
Left Bower will glow purple.
Right Bower will glow gold.

Normal: Suitable for those starting out, wanting to learn the game rules or experiment with strategies. Bots will sometimes make bad plays. Your bot teammate has a slight logic enhancement when it is dealer. Player 2 on the other bot team plays like a novice.
Hard: Bots remember cards played in previous tricks & use sophisticated logic to determine trump & card play selection.
NOTE: bots never know what is in another player or bot's hand & will always follow suit when possible!
The game will never let you play a card that doesn't follow suit! (unless you have no cards that can follow suit)
Your teammate won't yell at you!
The Deck:
24 cards (9 through Ace)
The Deal:
Deal 5 cards to each player. Flip the top card of the remaining deck face up.
Rotation:
The dealer role rotates clockwise.
Ordering Up:
Starting left of the dealer, players may pass or choose the flipped card's suit as trump.
If chosen, the dealer adds the card to their hand and discards one.
Stick the Dealer:
If everyone passes, the face-up card is turned over, and a second round begins where players can name any other suit as trump. If everyone passes again, the dealer must name a suit.
Going Alone:
Any player who names trump can choose to "go alone." Their partner sits out the round.
The Bowers:
The Jack of the trump suit is the Right Bower (highest card). The other Jack of the same color is the Left Bower (second-highest card and counts as trump).
The Lead:
The player to the dealer’s left leads the first trick.
Following Suit:
Players must follow the led suit if possible. If they cannot, they may play any card. Highest card of the led suit (or highest trump) wins the trick.
