HODULGAP is a 2D boss-rush action RPG about entering a dangerous den to get back five dollars.
What begins as a small problem quickly turns into something much less small. Each boss has its own rhythm, attacks, and openings. Read their movements, parry attacks when you can, dodge what cannot be parried, and build up break damage to create a chance to strike back.
Even when you fail to defeat a boss, the attempt is not wasted. Your performance can still earn currency, which can be used to upgrade stats, equipment, and skills before the next fight. Learn the patterns, grow stronger through repeated attempts, and return better prepared.
Between battles, prepare your build in the hub and step through the portal to face the next boss. Some enemies are serious, some are strange, and some will stop you in ways that make very little sense. Find your own approach, survive the pressure, and push through each fight.
