About Infinite Backrooms

The exit exists. Finding it is another matter.

Infinite Backrooms is the first true infinite Backrooms experience — not a handcrafted level disguised as endless, not a session-based map with invisible walls. A single, seamless world that generates forever as you move through it, just like the original creepypasta described.

A World That Never Repeats

Powered by a proprietary procedural generation system, Infinite Backrooms builds its world in real-time using a chunk-based architecture — the same technology behind open-world games like Minecraft. Every corridor, every room, every transition is generated on the fly and stitched together into one continuous, infinite space.

No loading screens. No level select. No boundaries.

Share your seed and a friend will explore the exact same infinite world. Find a location that haunts you — save the seed, share the coordinates, and let others experience what you found.

Five Environments. One Endless World.

Unlike other Backrooms games that isolate each level behind a loading screen, Infinite Backrooms connects all environments into a single living map — just like biomes in an open world:

  • The Office Rooms — fluorescent lights hum overhead. Carpet stretches endlessly in every direction. Cubicles disappear into the fog.

  • The Supermarket — aisles that go nowhere. Products that shouldn't exist. Something moving between the shelves.

  • The Pool Rooms — warm, still water. The echo of your footsteps. The feeling that something is just below the surface.

  • The Parking Lot — concrete columns as far as you can see. You are not alone.

  • The No-Walls Room — open space that should feel safe. It doesn't.

The world transitions around you — familiar places becoming unfamiliar, comfortable spaces becoming wrong.

You Are Not Alone

Invite up to friends and explore together, or face it alone. The Bacteria is always listening. It doesn't hunt. It waits.

Voice proximity chat means your teammates only hear you when you're close. Wander too far and the silence becomes your only companion.

Built Different

Every other Backrooms game on Steam uses handcrafted levels or session-based generation with fixed boundaries. Infinite Backrooms is the first to implement true infinite procedural generation with a seed system — meaning the world is mathematically infinite, consistent, and shareable.

This is what the original creepypasta described. No other game has built it. Until now.
