Kickabout is online, first-person arcade football (soccer): you ARE one player on the pitch, and your body picks the touch — foot low, chest mid, head high. It runs on rollback netcode for fair, in-sync play, so every touch, curl and last-ditch tackle comes down to you. Find a match, jump in, play.
Most football games hand you a whole team from a camera in the sky. Kickabout hands you one player — you — in the thick of it, everything through your own eyes, in fast indoor 5-a-side-style matches. Your body reads the ball against your eyeline and picks the contact automatically — no fiddly button combos. You look, you move, you commit.
Touch, spin and timing separate a scuffed clearance from a dipping finish under the bar — simple tools, deep mastery.
Dribble — sprint to knock it a clear stride ahead, or keep it close off the sprint.
Charged curve — hold to charge, strike off-centre for sidespin and bend it into the corner; backspin and topspin shape the flight.
Chest & cushion — pop a dropping ball up for a volley, or hold a dead touch to kill it stone dead.
Headers & volleys — power a header at head height, or strike straight out of the air.
Slide tackles — timed right, they actually clear the ball, not nudge it.
Claim the keeper role on the team screen, pull on the gloves, and the game flips.
Parry, catch and dive.
Dive to reach mid-height out to your side, or slide low when you aim down.
Rush off your line to smother a striker through on goal.

Rooms your way — create, browse and join lobbies, from 1v1 up to 7v7.
Positional voice chat — push-to-talk with a clear mic indicator; teammates sound like they're where they actually are.
Host tools — manage players and issue bans.

Four arena sizes — Small, Medium, Large and XL.
Closed-door indoor — turf, walls, trusses and rounded goals, no crowd: a tight, focused kickabout space.
Your rules — pick match length (3/5/10/15 min) and goal limit (3/5/10).
Golden Goal — level at the final whistle? Sudden death settles it.
Kickoff formations — line up with a dedicated keeper slot.
Every goal cuts to a TV-style replay — the build-up, the strike in slow motion, broadcast angle cuts (wide, behind-goal, low) tracking the ball into the net, clock paused. Seen enough? Press to vote-skip.

Training — five ramping drills (Range, Curve, Keeper, Ball Control and Aerials) with on-screen coaching cues.
Free Play — an offline sandbox: just you and the ball, no rules.

Fully rebindable keyboard-and-mouse controls, grouped into tidy settings tabs.
On-screen control hints with mouse-button icons that update the moment you rebind.
