LAST CORE : BROKEN LINK is a TPS battle royale where androids branched from the same AI fight to become the one true complete entity.
In this game, defeating an enemy is not enough to secure victory.
By extracting the core from a downed opponent, you confirm your evolution, gain an advantage, and change your position on the battlefield.
Temporary alliances, betrayal, and awakening after being downed create tension and drama beyond a simple fight for survival.

Core Extraction — Defeat alone is not enough
After downing an opponent, you must extract their core to truly claim the value of the fight. Whether you commit to extraction or retreat before another player intervenes becomes a tactical decision.
Awakening — Defeat is not the end
If a downed unit returns without having its core extracted, it awakens and becomes a greater threat in the late game. The hunted can suddenly become the hunter.
Alliances and betrayal
Players can temporarily cooperate when their interests align, but those relationships never last forever. When the situation changes, allies may become enemies again. The collapse of trust itself becomes part of the strategy.
A tense battlefield ruled by Origin Units
The threat does not come from players alone. Powerful Origin Units also exist on the battlefield, creating pressure from another axis. As the match reaches its final phase, the structure of the battlefield changes into something even more abnormal.
Accessible melee-focused TPS action
Combat is built around melee attacks, ranged attacks, and evasion. The controls are simple to understand, but spacing, timing, and decision-making determine how each player fights.
All humanoid androids in this world are incomplete beings branched from the same AI.
Each unit has a different personality, decision-making tendency, and combat style, yet each believes that it is the closest candidate to becoming the one true complete entity.
A core is not merely a power source.
It is the central structure that contains memory, judgment, and proof of existence.
To take another unit’s core is not simply to defeat them.
It means absorbing their existence and evolving yourself.
Deployment
Enter the battlefield as a Special Android.
Exploration / Encounter
Prioritize survival while searching for opportunities to fight and grow.
Down / Core Exposure
Defeating an opponent is not the end. You must decide whether to extract their exposed core.
Extraction / Retreat
Commit to a high-value reward, or retreat before another player interferes.
Recovery / Awakening
Being downed does not always mean elimination. Under certain conditions, a unit can return and awaken.
Final Convergence
As the battlefield gradually shrinks, the surviving units are forced toward the final clash.

Combat
A melee-focused TPS action system built around melee attacks, ranged attacks, and evasion. The controls are easy to grasp, but spacing, timing, and the right moment to engage create meaningful differences between players.
Core Extraction
The value of combat is confirmed not when an enemy is downed, but when their core is fully extracted. This creates a high-risk, high-reward decision where a major advantage comes with a major opening.
Down / Recovery / Awakening
In LAST CORE : BROKEN LINK, being downed does not guarantee elimination.
A recovered unit awakens and returns to the battlefield as a more dangerous existence.
This transformation from defeated unit to battlefield threat is one of the core structures of the game.
Alliance / Betrayal / Neural Link
Temporary cooperation can form when players face a common threat or share a short-term interest.
However, these relationships are never permanent.
As the situation changes, allies can return to being enemies.
The boundary between cooperation and betrayal is always unstable.
Growth / Level / Build
Players grow through their actions on the battlefield.
By choosing combat range, engagement style, and survival strategy, each player forms their own build.
The choices made to survive directly shape the evolution of the unit.
Root Units / Late-Game Structure
Root Units are high-rank entities that greatly exceed normal units in combat ability.
They are early threats, long-term objectives, and sources of pressure that exist outside of player-versus-player combat.

Special Android
An incomplete unit controlled by the player.
It is not a direct inheritor of an Origin Unit’s abilities, but an abnormal unit that has relearned their combat tendencies.
Awakened Unit
A Special Android that returns from a downed state and fuses with its Support AI.
It overcomes defeat and becomes a new threat on the battlefield.
Root Unit
A high-rank unit that exists on the battlefield.
Each Root Unit has a high level of completion and a clear identity, serving as both an early threat and a late-game objective.
Berserk Unit
The final threat that emerges when only one Origin Unit remains in the final phase.
Its presence transforms the battlefield itself.
Support AI
An auxiliary intelligence possessed only by Special Androids.
It supports combat, analyzes enemy tendencies, and becomes the key to fusion during awakening.

The battlefield is a silent city inspired by London at night.
Stone streets, narrow alleys, open plazas, and fountains create a cold, heavy atmosphere.
In the early phase, cover and evasion allow players to survive and reposition.
As the match progresses, the battlefield gradually converges, eventually transforming into a final arena with no place left to run.
What begins as a beautiful and orderly city becomes a battlefield where survival is the only remaining purpose.
That transformation itself represents the world of LAST CORE : BROKEN LINK.
