About Lightbound : A Rolling Ball Game
Take control. Whatever you do, don't fall.
You are a ball of light in a dark world. Ahead of you: levels floating in mid-air, packed with traps and shortcuts. Find your way, keep your momentum, and reach the exit as fast as you can — one wrong move and you're falling.
Built to roll[
Lightbound runs on 100% physics-based controls: every acceleration, every brake and every turn is felt in the ball's momentum. Easy to pick up, hard to master.
Solo or with friends
Story: live one ball story and become a light of the world.
Solo Adventure: take on level after level and beat the best times in the world.
Split-screen : up to 4 players on the same screen.
Competition : a series of rounds, a leaderboard, one champion.
Difficulty that ramps up
Start with easy levels, progress at your own pace, and unlock new levels in Story mode or in Arcade mode on split-screen. Don't get too comfortable with the easy ones — nearly impossible levels are waiting for you.
]Power-ups to use wisely
Collect power-ups and pick the right moment to trigger them.
Jump: clear gaps and walls, and reach higher platforms.
Speed: an explosive boost to reach the other side of the platform.
Invisibility: turn into a ghost and slip under the enemies' radar.
Three slots, a power-up wheel you can spin on the fly: your strategy comes down to the right item at the right moment.
Ghost mode: a high-risk gamble
Turn invisible and enemies ignore you completely. But be careful: stay a ghost too long and your screen goes dark, your ball freezes in the black, and you lose control. Stealth pays off — greed gets punished.
Two cameras, two feelings
You can play with two cameras. Choose the one you like.
Standard: a steady view, held at a constant distance behind the ball. Clear, precise and immediate — designed for arcade players who want to stay in full control at every moment.
Realistic: an orbital camera that flows with your every move and rides the ball's momentum. As you pick up speed, it lingers slightly behind, as if swept along by the rush — a cinematic framing, right at the heart of the action. The most immersive experience.
Zones that change the rules
Jump pads, elevators, sand that slows you down, low gravity, checkpoints: every level reinvents the way you roll. Learn the terrain, perfect your route, improve your time.
So, can you handle it?
Roll fast, aim true, and never take your eyes off the edge.
