Matting Tsar is a high-performance image matting tool based on deep learning, developed by Alright Peaches Studio. Whether you need to quickly remove image backgrounds or matte specific areas of an image, this software delivers a streamlined workflow to get the job done with ease.
Drag & Drop, One-Click Matting
Simply drag an image into the application window and click the "Matting" button. The background will be automatically removed, and the result will be saved as a transparent PNG in the same folder as the original image, with the filename _bg_removed_ [timestamp] for easy tracking.
Local Selection Modes for Fine-Grained Control
Rectangular Selection Mode: Draw a rectangular bounding box on the image to matte only the selected area.
Free Lasso Selection Mode: Draw a closed polygon with your mouse to precisely matte any irregular shape, with the selection mask applied automatically.
When no selection is made, the entire image is processed by default.
Windows Context Menu Integration for Maximum Efficiency（Supports both classic context menu and Windows 11 modern context menu）
After installation, you can right-click on any image file and choose:
One-Click Auto Matting – Runs silently in the background without opening the main interface.
Import to Software for Part Matting – Quickly launches the main interface and loads the image, ready for local selection matting.
The context menu items can be added or removed with a single click from within the software interface (not forced). Administrator privileges may be required for the first-time installation; subsequent use does not require elevation.
Multi-Language Interface – Global Friendly
The interface supports over 41 languages. A language selection dialog will appear on first launch. You can also delete the config.ini file at any time to re-select your preferred language.
