No deck. Just the pool. Sharpen it.
You don't win with the cards you draw. You win with how you place them.
You draw cards — but you never build a deck.
In MindGate, what you do is
compress your pool.
Pick from a hand of 8, line your units across 3 lanes, and weave synergies.
Your units do the fighting. You decide the battle through placement and preparation.
What is pool-building?
A deckbuilder is a game about
adding cards.
MindGate is the opposite — a game about
cutting the cards you don't need.
Your pool is fixed from the start. The more you compress it, the purer your hand, the more stable your synergies, the bigger your combos explode.
It's not about
what you draw — it's about
what you keep. That's everything.
Three layers of explosion
Damage stacks through three multipliers.
Base × Combo × ResonanceCombo accumulates as you push through each wave.
Resonance grows the deeper you specialize into a synergy.
Half-committed builds stay weak. Mastered builds detonate.
3 waves, 3 lanes
Each battle runs up to 3 waves. Units and field carry over between them.
Your early placement decides the late-game explosion.
The field starts at 3 slots, growing by one each turn up to 9.
Early on it's about choices; later it's about board design. The same game transforms turn after turn.
49 units × 21 synergies
7 origins × 7 classes = 49 distinct units.
Synergies number 21 in total: 7 origin, 7 class, and 7 hidden duos.
Hold the same cards, arrange them differently, and you're playing a different game.
Synergies activate across 3–4 tiers. The deeper you specialize, the harder the effects spike and the higher resonance climbs.
Every unit carries its own passive skill, combining with synergies to create unique strengths.
Three classes, three games
Commander — a straight-ahead leader who marshals the field and stacks combos efficiently.
Magus — an unorthodox solver who tunes synergies at blistering speed with skills and magic.
Merchant — builds the board through a gold-and-relic economy all its own.
The same 49 units, three completely different experiences.
Explore and grow

Gear drops after battles. Defeat a boss and the chest is guaranteed — rarity is up to luck.
Four slots: weapon, armor, two accessories.
Effects range from ATK and synergy strength to hand size and gold — cutting straight to the heart of your pool.
Break down extras into materials. Craft. Upgrade.
Gear doesn't disappear when you die.
Keep challenging. Build something that's entirely your own.
Mind Layers — at your own pace
From the base difficulty up through Mind Layers 1 to 10.
Constraints and enemy strength ramp step by step, so beginners and veterans alike can challenge at a level that fits them.
Conquer Mind Layer 10, and you stand where only those who truly understand this game can see.
