About Pull the Lever
Pull the lever. Send a tiny train hauling cargo. You won't know the payout until it arrives.
Once you pull the lever, the dispatch is committed. Pick your cargo (reliable bulk, high-risk perishables, timing-sensitive express), choose a route, and throw the lever. THWACK. Then watch it go, because the outcome doesn't resolve until the train pulls into the far station: jackpot, a quiet normal run, a poor haul, or the sting of spoiled cargo.
While it travels, the run isn't safe. Storms roll in, engines threaten to break down, and obstructions block the line. Click to clear each threat before it eats your payout. There's no cooldown and never enough hands. With a fleet of trains underway, you have to triage: which run do you save, and which do you let ride?
Bank your winnings and grow the line: buy new locomotives, unlock riskier and richer routes, and hire staff who automate the boring runs so you're free to chase the big scores. Push through four eras: Steam, Diesel, Electric, and Maglev. Each changes the odds and the decisions you make. When you've mastered a line, Retire the Line to cash it in. Spend Heritage Points and start a new line that builds faster.
Leave it running and watch the railway hum. When several trains hit bad weather together, you'll need to jump back in.
Features
The delayed-payout loop: pull the lever, then wait. The outcome only reveals on arrival.
Active hazard triage: click storms and breakdowns to protect your take. Your attention is the only limit.
A living model railroad: tiny toy trains haul cargo across a hand-styled diorama that fills with motion as you grow.
Four eras of risk: Steam-era breakdowns to Maglev capital runs. Each era changes the odds, not just the skin.
Idle that earns its automation: hire staff to run routine dispatches. Step away and the line keeps working.
