Shadow Gates is a roguelite dungeon crawler where you crawl 5 escalating gates with 5 distinct biomes — Forest, Crypt, Shadow Rift, Frozen Cathedral, Volcanic Forge — each with its own boss, enemies, and music. Inspired by Solo Leveling, every kill extracts a shadow you can deploy on your next run. Lose 100 times. The army grows. Eventually you don't just survive — you walk back in commanding the dead that killed you.
Knight — frontline shield, area cleaves, taunts that pull aggro
Mage — projectile control, elemental combos, freeze-then-shatter
Rogue — backstab burst, blink dodges, single-target deletion
Warrior — sustained DPS, rage stacking, mid-range cleave
Paladin — heal-while-hitting hybrid, holy AoE, party-of-one tank
