Three hundred years ago the Skychain shattered. The bridges fell, the beacons went dark, and the islands drifted on alone. Somebody left you a letter, a rickety cottage on the last lit isle - and a very old to-do list.

Rebuild the Skychain

Every island holds ruins that remember what they were. Gather what the land gives, fund the Restoration Board, and watch bridges rebuild themselves plank by plank on camera - then meet the villagers who come home when the lights come back on.

Farm the floating fields

Till, plant, water, harvest. Fifteen crops, from honest pumpkins to crystalbuds that only grow where the Hum is strong.

Automate the cozy way

Chop wood yourself, or build a line that does it while you explore. Furnaces, crafters, smelteries and mills chain into production lines — fed by hauler bots, powered by the crystal Hum.

A crew with names

Pip the Lumberjack. Tansy the Farmer. Hire helpers who show up with their own tools, pay them a fair wage in gold and hot meals, and watch them file home to their cottages at dusk.

Sail the sky

Cargo balloons haul bulk freight between islands on routes you chart; nimble drones dart point-to-point. A chain of islands — a frozen crest, a witchwood, a volcanic forge-isle, and more — each with its own economy to wake up.

Delve when you dare

Beneath the oldest island, the Deep Barrow Dungeon waits. Bring a sword, bring a lantern, come home with soul crystals — or don't go at all.

And when you're strong enough — mind the lamps. The Skychain is waiting to be lit, one lantern at a time.

A note from the one-person crew

Sky Homestead is made by a single developer. What you see here — screenshots, trailer, all of it — is the game as it stands today, and it will keep getting better right up to launch and beyond. If these little islands speak to you, a wishlist genuinely moves the needle for a solo project.
