Split Decision is a narrative-heavy job simulator where you play as a boxing judge who is suddenly pulled into a world of sports, corruption and bribery. Each point you give may risk your life or the lives of the people around you; or it may help you move upwards in this shady industry.
You start your game sitting on the side of a boxing ring, situated between two other boxing judges. You are tasked with observing each round and giving points to the better player. At the end of the match all judges' points are tallied up and a winner is decided. After the fight, the story in front of you unravels and you face the consequences of your actions, be they good or bad.
Watch out, though! Even if you survive and move up in this game, you may encounter other characters who will force you to rethink your choices and vote differently.
Split Decision is set in the small town of Brickton in the middle of the 20th century. Home to about 40,000 people, the local brickyard used to be the largest on the East Coast. However, since its collapse in the recent years, a lot of factories have been left abandoned and most of the population had to flee to other cities in search of new jobs and a better life, and the few who have stayed turned to various vices.
You begin the story working at Callahan's Gym that quickly started gaining popularity in Brickton since it started hosting boxing matches. As the story progresses you will discover many other locations and characters in this tiny ghost town.
