Starbase Starlight

Blast your way to victory in an arcade defence shooter about protecting your Starbase from a never ending horde of opposing ships. Each with its own way of trying to break your precious platform. Destroy your enemies in storms of bright colourful explosions and sprays of bullets before they reach you and annihilate your Starbase.

Multiple Weapons

Select from a variety of different weapons each with a unique playstyle. The generic Burst Rifle for that classic feel. The heavy Rocket Launcher, powerful, explosive but limited in ammo or the more unique Mine Lobber, laying dozens of small explosive traps for the unwary enemy.

Utilities

Along with your weaponry the Starbase is equipped with powerful Utility tools. Deploy a rapid-firing auto-turret system to track and destroy nearby enemies, unleash the Electrofield to fry enemy systems as they approach, or activate the Shield Generator—because sometimes the best offense is a strong defense.

Waves and Rewards

With each wave, enemy ships will fly towards your Starbase in their aim to destroy it. It begins with small groups, becoming dozens, before finally becoming overwhelming hordes. After clearing a wave, you select a Starbase upgrade permenantly powering up your Weapons or Utilities - At least until you finally crumble under the endless foes.

Unlockables

By defeating several waves of enemies you gain an Unlockable. These are bonuses that you persist between runs, they come in a variety of types, new weapons, new powerful upgrades, a special ability for your Weapons, or a function adding upgrade for your Utilities.
