ABOUT THE DEVELOPER
I am an orthopedic surgeon, 47 years old, with no previous programming experience, and the father of two wonderful children, ages 3 and 8. About 8 months ago, my oldest son asked me to make him a video game. With the help of modern artificial intelligence tools, many nights of learning, mistakes, and late hours, Tac-Tums: DreamQuest was born.
With this game, I wanted to pay tribute to the 16-bit and 32-bit pixel art adventures that shaped my childhood: platforms, colorful worlds, secrets, and challenges. Watching my son play it, finish it, and get excited about it made all the effort worthwhile.
I hope you enjoy this adventure and forgive its imperfections. I will keep working to improve it with each new version.
Thank you for playing.
