Don't be shy-smash your rivals with everything you've got. Then you can start playing Thumps & Blows.
Most of the time, you will use basic attacks to deal damage and do combos. But once you accumulate enough energy, you can use some absurd powerful special techniques! Each character has their own, and they can be anything! Jumping like a monkey, firing a fart like a missile, applying sunscreen, performing a really manly counterattack…
You can also perform secondary actions, like dodging, floating in the air, charging a jump… In exchange for a bit of energy.
In conclusion, each character has plenty of tools and tricks, and managing your energy properly is the key to victory.
Pro tip: Unplug your opponent's controller without them noticing to gain an advantage. You're welcome!
