Welcome to TOUCHDOWN, a chaotic, fast-paced local multiplayer game designed for pure, unfiltered fun with friends. It was made with love for the genre, with the main intention to combine casual play and high-skill competitive gaming.
Two teams go against each other to gain control of an orb, which spawns in the middle of the map.
Whoever captures it first and gets to the enemy side, scores a point for their team.
You can wall-jump, dash mid-air and fight your opponents with various tricks in fully 3D environment. You can use the map geometry to get around them, outrun them or simply defeat them in a sword fight.
Most importantly: by playing you unlock new game modes, maps and characters!
Play Your Way: Supports up to 10 players - though most game modes are balanced with 2-6 players in mind, you can definitely push it with bigger groups, although it will become a truly chaotic experience. Similarly, there's a few modes that can be enjoyed alone - although the game is definitely designed as a multiplayer first.
Controller Friendly: Full support for various controllers. So grab them, pull up a couch and dive in!
Easy to Learn, Hard to Master: Accessible for newcomers, but with enough depth to keep even the most competitive players hooked.
Fun Mechanics: Fast-paced gameplay with parkour, wall-jumping and quick melee fighting mechanics. Combine different tricks, learn the maps and outpace your friends!
Variety: There's multiple game modes and a variety of maps you will unlock throughout your playthrough.
TOUCHDOWN: The classic. Two teams face each other with one orb spawning in the middle. Grab it and carry it to the enemy side to score points for your team. Simple? Not when everyone is doing whatever it takes to stop you!
ARENA: An old-school Deathmatch where you score points for killing your enemies. Collect as many kills before the timer runs out.
HUNTER: One player becomes the unstoppable Hunter - faster, stronger and invincible. Everyone else run, hide and survive! The faster the hunter catches everyone, the more points they'll score!
PARKOUR: Simply get from point A to B as fast as possible! Beat records and unlock new maps. This mode is built with a single player and a speed-running potential in mind.
FALLAPSE: The map is slowly collapsing, try to be the last one standing on the ground!
As a solo developer, I poured my heart into making TOUCHDOWN a game that's all about pure fun.
It's raw and real, and it's designed to hopefully bring people together.
You will find no tricky microtransactions or monetizing schemes inside. The game is yours to enjoy in its entirety.
It requires no online connection and there is no data gathering whatsoever.
