Underroot

Underroot is a cozy fantasy mining adventure where you wake up in a strange mushroom village with no memory of how you got there. Upon your arrival, you're handed a pickaxe and told to report to the mines first thing in the morning.

Most of your time is spent exploring the mines, gathering valuable ores, finding hidden treasures, completing quests, and slowly upgrading your gear. The village is warm and cozy, but the deeper you go underground, the more you start to wonder what really happened... and why you're here in the first place.

While mining is at the heart of Underroot, I also want the world to feel like it's yours to explore. You'll be able to place lights, personalize parts of the mines, keep track of discoveries in your journal, and return to the village between adventures to prepare for your next journey.

As development continues, there will be more of a village. I want the mornings to be peaceful, and quiet, before you head into the mines. There will also be more NPC's, quests, realms, equipment and story.
