This set consists of a complete VT11.5 train set. Popularly named the TEE (for Trans Europ Express), the VT11.5 presented a milestone in Train design in it's heydays. With it's destinct and representative design the TEE turned heads everywhere. The first trains entered service in 1957.

The first trains entered service in 1957. The last one in West Germany was decomissioned in 1988 whereas East Germany put the last one out of service in 1991.
