For countless nights, the soldiers of Peel Castle kept their distance from the Moddey Dhoo, the black dog. That changed with you.
Yn Moddey Dhoo is an atmospheric first person horror game inspired by indie horror games of the 2000s with visuals mimicking displays of early handhelds and models of the PSX era. The minimal colours make for a dark and oppressive feeling that hangs over the player like the threat of the large black dog. Explore the claustrophobic corridors and winding staircases to discover the dark secrets below.
You are Edward Christian, a soldier stationed in Peel Castle during the 18th century. Each night in the soldiers' barracks, an imposing black dog wanders and lays down in front of the fire. The soldiers of the castle fear the dog, but leave it be. One night, the drink gets the better of you, and you challenge the beast to follow you as you take the castle key to the Captain of the Guard alone. Traverse the Castle as the Moddey Dhoo stalks you.
