A low-poly first-person simulator set in a stylised Australian take on the global e-waste crisis.
🧍 Step into the steel-capped boots of an Aussie E-Waste Scrapper.
Hunt down discarded electronics, dismantle them piece-by-piece, and extract valuable materials like Copper, Silver, and Gold and lower value materials like Iron, Aluminium, Brass and Plastic. Sell for quick cash at the Scrap Yard or hold for market spikes, and strategically expand your operation through smart investments and upgrades.
Every playthrough is shaped by deep, dynamic systems: daily e-waste varies, changing weather affects solar generation, individual items can contain hundreds of different component combinations based on their hardware and RAM configurations, market prices fluctuate daily just to name a few.
A New Game playthrough includes a guided tutorial that gives you limitless energy and freedom to explore at your own pace. Use this time wisely to learn the systems. Once the tutorial ends, 'real life' begins and you're completely on your own.
This is a realism-inspired simulator, not a mindless sandbox.
While it can feel relaxing and laid-back for players who enjoy the hands-on pacing, it rewards patience, problem-solving, and adaptability. Every choice shapes your success or your downfall, and it can throw you a curve ball every so often, to change things up and keep you on your toes. If you're looking for simple, carefree sandbox gameplay with no consequences, this may not be the game for you.
This is a Game best suited for players who love hands-on tasks, meaningful decisions & progression, and engaging with real-world issues in a simulated environment.
Head out early each morning to secure the best finds before rival scrappers beat you to them. Not all junk is worth your time, learning what to take (and what to leave behind) is part of the strategy. Pull Items apart down to the last Screw and gather the Raw Materials hidden inside.
Track fluctuating prices on your in-game PC. Sell raw or refined metals at the Scrap Yard, offload low-tier electronics at the Pawn Shop to free up time and storage for higher-value targets. Timing and focus can directly impact your profits.
Visit the Hardware Store to purchase better tools to speed up disassembly, solar panels to reduce utility costs & provide idle income, improved item transport options, expanded external storage, and other efficiency-focused upgrades. Spend wisely, not every upgrade provides immediate returns.
Reinvest your mid/late game profits into a Furnace Set, Crucible, and Ingot Moulds to forge high-value Ingots. A step further is the Chemical Set, used to extract pure Gold and Silver for premium returns. Buying into the hype of Ingot Creation too early with little to no valuable materials stockpiled can greatly slow your progression. It can be far more beneficial increasing Disassembly Productivity & Speed with Tool Upgrades, achieving a steady stream of reliable Income from selling lower value materials and stockpiling valuable materials before investing in these systems.

Scrapping Simulator is a stylised exaggeration of today’s throwaway culture. It’s about uncovering value in the forgotten. Where some see trash on the curb, others see opportunity, raw materials waiting to be reclaimed.
This is a simulator built on freedom, consequence, and discovery. There is no single “correct” path, only the one you carve out for yourself.
