About Witching Hour

DEVELOPER NOTE: 2.0 IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD, JUST THROUGH A DIFFERENT BRANCH (LIKE HOW YOU WOULD FIND A BETA RELEASE)

Witching Hour is a horror-themed zombie wave shooter.

You must survive with your AK until the clock stikes 12

Zombies will come at you from every angle.

The game features a body cam perspective.

In Witching Hour the player will be able to walk around and sprint, as well as shoot their rifle at different types of entities.

Witching hour also gives the player a flashlight that can be turned on and off.

Witching hour features four different types of entities:

The zombie: slow moving entity that is practically harmless on its own but can be very dangerous in numbers.

The skinwalker: A fast moving entity disguised as a mannequin that only moves when the player cannot see it. This entity drops ammo when killed.

The mutant: A large entity that is harder to kill and is only visible when the flashlight is off.

The speed demon: a small but very fast moving entity that will stop at nothing to kill you.

Diary Entry - November 17th

The world has unraveled into a nightmare, and I find myself scrawling these words in the flickering light of a dwindling flashlight. Today marked the onset of the undead invasion that now engulfs our once-thriving city. The streets, once filled with life, have transformed into a desolate battleground.

Morning brought ominous whispers of chaos as news of the outbreak spread like wildfire. A sense of disbelief clung to the air until the distant moans of the undead grew louder, drowning out the last vestiges of normalcy.

By midday, the city plunged into pandemonium. Sirens wailed in the distance, and the sharp stench of decay hung heavy. I watched from my apartment window as people fled in panic, their screams blending with the haunting groans of the approaching undead.

My instincts kicked in, propelling me to secure my meager supplies and fortify my apartment. The world outside my window became a twisted dance of survival, where each shadow held the potential for danger. The undead roamed the streets, their vacant eyes fixated on a grim objective that only they seemed to comprehend.

As night fell, the city plunged into darkness, broken only by sporadic flashes of gunfire and distant screams. The hollow echoes of footsteps and the occasional crash of breaking glass painted a grim soundscape, reminding me of the encroaching peril.

Now, as I pen down these words, I can't shake the feeling of impending doom. The undead lurk in the shadows, their relentless pursuit fueled by an insatiable hunger. The world as I knew it has crumbled, replaced by a landscape of fear and uncertainty.

I cling to the hope that daylight will bring some respite, a chance to navigate this apocalyptic reality. For now, I fight in the dark, surrounded by the distant moans of the undead, and wonder how long my limited supply of bullets will hold against the relentless tide outside.
