Rogues Don't Cry

Rogues Don't Cry is a mix of strategy and roguelike. Pick a hero, hire units, face a harsh procedurally generated world with dangerous monsters, upgrade your town, manage a powerful army.

It's tough and different from other games. Maybe you like to have a few elite units, or maybe you want to swarm your enemies with hundreds of annoying critters. Or you want to build strong town defense and lure enemies into their death. You're free to experiment for the good and the bad without hand holding.

• Build your army: choose from many different units with over 150 abilities and traits, from alcoholism to nerd to ejecting a bunch of worms on death

• Every unit has its own experience, skills and equipment: equip your units with powerful items and turn a rookie into a master over time

• Over 100 different units, 200 items as well as many objects to explore and secret events

• Fast paced real time battles with total control of your units and automation when needed

• Unlock heroes, starting units and buildings, but it's possible to win the game without any unlocks

• Simple town building without annoying requirements: find blueprints and upgrade your town with shops, camps or walls/towers.

• Tough final battle where you need to make a plan and use your brain to win, unlike other games where you just show up and get a trophy

From small tactical fights to epic battles

• Many different units to experiment with, from the conventional axeman to crazy wild animals. Discover unexpected synergies!

• Set your units to automatic control or manually control them when things get tough

• Decide which units you keep in reserve to save those who are vulnerable, but if you lose you can field the rest of your army once

• Fast forward through easy battles or slow time down during epic fights

Varied heroes

Each hero has unique skills you can pick on level up and play very differently from each other.

Commander: Field a big army, improve unit abilities and have better tactical deployment

Warrior: Become so powerful you can kill hundreds of units by yourself, if you're good enough to survive...

Ranger: Snipe enemies from afar, or use crossbows/primitive firearms to blast enemies up close

Hermit: Summon a bunch of powerful animals to wreck enemies or make your animals better 

Replayable without limits

• No level caps on any units

• No maximum on most stats, so if you nurture some units they can become more powerful than you can imagine

• NEW : keep your favorite army and fight even crazier battles with the new endless mode feature, accessible once you beat the game
