Dante's Cowboy

Dante's Cowboy is an interactive adventure, the first of its kind to completely personalize the story of the game based on the actions of the player. Every single playthrough is completely unique with regard to the plotting: all dialog is new, all actions are new, and with the built in character creator, players can even add their own creative spin to the story and share it with their friends.

Tear through the town like a tornado, bringing chaos to a passive people, or act as a peacekeeper reuniting lost ties. The choice is up to you.

The game is pure and streamlined in other regards to make room for this new element: no spreadsheets of item statistics to learn, there are only a few distinct categories and specific items that have clear effects on the rules of the game. This clarity gives rise to complexity in the dynamics between characters.

Items and powerups are designed around the people, they give you the power to read minds of NPCs or change what they see and feel. Their power must be wielded carefully: if the townspeople begin to despise you, you're in for a rough run.
