Take The Wheels! Demo

Take The Wheels! is a fresh, brand new take on the arcade racing genre! Using asymmetric thrust to pilot your hovercar (think rowing a boat, but with rockets!), race across a variety of environments, from luscious forests to calm islands. The Take The Wheels! demo supports only singleplayer, but with online leaderboards, you can set blisteringly fast times and knock your times down further and further to climb higher and higher up the leaderboards!

This demo features:

• 4 tracks set across the forest, island and desert locations

• Singleplayer with online leaderboards

• A control scheme that is very counterintuitive to most traditional (and modern) racing games, but master very quickly! (and insanely fun!)

• The Boost powerup! Awarded for every odd numbered checkpoint you pass.

Note: The game is best played with a controller. It can be played with keyboard and mouse, but controls can feel less '"fine" (e.g. it is harder to gradually steer around a corner on keyboard and mouse verses a controller).
