In a time of peace and prosperity, under the bright skies of the island of Miralis, life flourished in the port city of the same name and its surrounding area. The island, known for its rich gold veins and fertile soil, gained fame and wealth through brisk trade and the eager gold prospectors who flocked to the mines to seek their fortune.
Ships from distant lands arrived daily, filled with adventurers, merchants, and fortune seekers attracted by rumors of the island's wealth. The city pulsated with life, the docks were a hive of activity, the markets bustled with negotiations, and the sound of gold coins filled the air.
But while the sun shone on Miralis and the island basked in prosperity, quiet questions arose. What would happen when the tirelessly mined gold vein was exhausted? How would the island survive if traders could no longer travel safely along the roads? And what secrets did the mysterious remains of an ancient culture hold, buried deep in the earth and in the hearts of those who inhabited the island?
Unanswered questions hung like clouds over paradise, and the fate of the island of Miralis seemed to be at a turning point. What would happen when the golden age came to an end and the island had to face its true trials? These times of uncertainty would shape the fate of Miralis forever.
