About Train Sim World® 5: DB BR 111 & n-Wagen Pack

About This Content

Swap out modern traction for some classic action between Frankfurt and Fulda with the DB BR 111, twinned with compatible n-Wagen & cab car in Train Sim World 5!

The BR 111 has been a regular feature on Germany’s railway network since the 1970s on both S-Bahn and InterCity services. It utilises a tap changer control system with both manual and semi-automatic input, bringing a different style of operation to that seen on contemporary locomotives.

Fittingly retro is also the ubiquitous n-Wagen, a single-deck fleet of passenger coaches complete with the Karlsruher Kopf cab car. Included in this pack, the combined forces of the BR 111 and the n-Wagen offer the chance to drive push/pull services along the Kinzigtalbahn before newer traffic such as the BR 146 took hold.

On the Frankfurt - Fulda route, this locomotive functions with the older n-Wagen set and its cab car as part of an alternative timetable, replacing more modern locomotives and rolling stock. Drive these services from either cab or take on conductor duties! Also included are 3 new, engaging scenarios which offer additional challenges such as rescuing stricken locomotives or providing a relief service to the busy hub of Frankfurt.

Please note: Train Sim World 5: Frankfurt - Fulda: Kinzigtalbahn is required, as a separate purchase, in order to utilise the content featured in this add-on.
