About Paradox: The Breaking of Time

Immerse yourself in Paradox: The Breaking of Time, a top-down puzzle game where you play, create, and share challenges with a vibrant community. Solve time-based puzzles using clones to unlock doors, evade traps, and manage Time Shifts. But beware—seeing your clones triggers a Paradox!

Clone Yourself

Clone yourself with a set amount of clones for each puzzle. Record their movements to activate switches or other devices that assist your other clones to move through the puzzle.

Avoid Paradoxes

Time Travel isn't all fun and games. If a clone sees another clone it will break time and reset part of the puzzle! Paradoxes can also be caused by traps like electric floors, lasers, pit falls, and more!

Difficulty Modes

Three different difficulty modes plus Hardcore variants to challenge you! Easy: Line of sight of sight and guided puzzles to help you learn. Normal: The original challenge with no lines of sight or guidance. Visible cloning paths still available to help your memory. Hard: Limited FOV and requires the best memory to remember where and what your clones are doing. Hardcore: After beating a level you can play it on Hardcore with each difficulty which resets the puzzle if you cause a paradox!

Custom Levels

Create your own custom levels and share them with friends and the community! Unlock more mechanics by progressing through the campaign.

Character Customization

Unlock cosmetics by playing through the game or purchasing some with Time Shards. Don't worry, Time Shards can be earned quite easily through gameplay and they don't need to be purchased if you want to unlock everything.
