You were judged unworthy of death. Your crimes were too terrible for the executioner's block, so the court sent you here instead. Castle Bloodthorn was cursed long before you arrived. Whatever waits inside it will decide what remains of you.
Bloodthorn is a first-person dark fantasy dungeon crawler where death is forgiving, but Limbo is not. Survive each floor to keep what you have earned. Fail, and the castle takes everything.
Bloodthorn is a vertical descent through a corrupted gothic nightmare. Every floor was once a wing of the king's stronghold before the curse consumed it. Now the walls remember what they were, and hate what they have become. Push deeper. Earn the key. Climb again.
First-person melee and ranged combat with stamina-based depth
Tiered loot hidden in chests, destructible containers, and forgotten corners
No mid-floor saves. No checkpoints. Every step is committed.
Die on a floor, and you fall into Limbo, a contained survival challenge that decides everything. Survive it, and you respawn with your gear intact. Die there, and you lose everything earned on that floor. Forever.
There are no second saves—only second chances.
The enemies you fight are not monsters. They are the king's former servants, twisted by the same curse that took the castle. Every corridor is haunted by what the household became.
Each floor boss was once a figure of the court. Kill them, and you inherit part of what they were.
Every boss you defeat grants a corruption skill point that permanently reshapes your body and unlocks new abilities. Your character becomes a record of what you have killed. By the time you reach the throne room, you will be as powerful as the demons you fight.
Between every ascent, return to the Cell Hub to prepare for what comes next.
