But somewhere along the line, things got blurred, the scientists pushed too far, and both the civilian robotic servants and the autonomous military drones turned on their creators. Now the island is a tomb for humanity and a womb for a rapidly growing artificial intelligence that sees humans as its greatest threat. 

As the sole survivor of a relief force sent to investigate the destruction, you are humanity first and last line of defense.
