The World of Veil of Ashes

In 1704, the world was consumed by an unprecedented inferno. When the flames finally subsided, they left behind Cinium, mysterious white fragments, pure as angel feathers and possessing immense power. 

Two centuries later, new kingdoms and reborn empires rise from the ruins of the old world, fighting over dwindling resources as a grey veil covers the sky and ash deserts turn the Earth into a wasteland.

Cinium fuels their war machines, powering steam-driven tanks and colossal behemoths as they battle for control of a world slowly fading into ashes.

Original Factions With Unique Flavours

The theocratic Sacrum Imperium, led by the Novissima Ecclesia, is a fanatical faction that overwhelms its enemies with sheer firepower and super-heavy Cataphractus tanks.
Dominating the western Mediterranean and expanding relentlessly, the Sacrum Imperium is the strongest power on the European continent.

The feudal Lohenreich, whose knights march into battle aboard heavily armored Lanzierer tanks, accompanied by loyal Panzerknecht Soldiers.
A remnant of ancient times in Central Europe. A mighty empire that is crumbling with each passing day. But its shards are ready to defend what is left.

During each match, build your army from different companies, each offering unique units and playstyles. Adapt your composition and tactics to the evolving conditions of the battlefield.

Combat Leaves Scars On The Battlefield

The longer the battle goes on, the more it impacts the map. Craters and wrecks alter the landscape. Destroyed Behemoths not only block the terrain but can also be garrisoned by advancing troops. Every successful commander knows how to integrate these into their strategy. 

Dynamic Single-player Campaign

Veil of Ashes features semi-procedural single-player campaigns, each designed as a military venture across a strategic overworld map layered with tactical battles. You choose your path toward key objectives, expanding your army and managing resources under increasing pressure from time-limits and narrative-driven events. 

Every decision matters, as battles have lasting consequences creating different outcomes, risks, and rewards across each playthrough.

The system is designed to offer strong replayability through procedural elements and branching events, while its modular structure allows for future expansion, including additional factions and content.

Face Human Opponents

Multiplayer and skirmish battles support up to 4v4 (PvE and PvP), offering dynamic large-scale tactical engagements across diverse maps. Players can test different army compositions and strategies in fast-paced, objective-driven combat where positioning, timing, and reinforcement choices are crucial.

Skirmish features two core game modes:

• Breakthrough – one team attacks while the opposing team defends key positions across the map from the start

• Conquest – capture and control sectors to gain dominance over the battlefield
