To earn them, he battles gangs of ants, deals with eccentric residents, and meets other mouse tribes each struggling with their own strange problems.

Find and buy items that will power-up certain attacks. Hot sauce makes kicks explosive. Roach milk, as expected, super-charges your uppercut.
