Nothing lasts forever, especially if you shoot it repeatedly with acorn bullets. Breaking stuff is fun, and in this game you can break a lot of stuff. With hundreds unique destructible objects, your acorn ammo will be busy.
Seek safety in, under, or behind the many buildings and natural structures throughout Moru – but be careful where you hide as your enemy’s acorn gun or termite grenade might cause your seemingly indestructible shelter to fall to pieces.
Maps are handcrafted and offer unique gameplay scenarios and victory conditions.
Additionally, each map features unique, game-changing events (train wreck, helicopter crash, etc.)
To add even more spice, maps contain modifiers - some are subtle like “removed HUD,” while others turn matches upside down - like “the floor is lava” and “asteroids attack.”
Suppression fire: You can’t fire back when you are being fired at
Cover management: With a fully destructible environment, you should always be on the move (like a shark, but a bunny)
These two features make teamwork essential for the victory: one bunny suppresses the enemy, the other flanks and engages.
Three classes will be available at the time of release:
Drone Operator: They shine in attack and defense modes; if their trusty SMG firepower proves insufficient, however, they can always call in a tactical hummingbird-operated drone to rain down acorn chaos from the skies.
Assault Specialist: This class protects teammates with a ballistic shield, then switches to a pinecone shotgun once they come into their wheelhouse of close-range combat.
Reconnaissance Officer: Best when deployed for covert maneuvers and sneak attacks, these recon officers are armed with a silenced pistol and can become invisible thanks to their camo gear.
Each class shows leporine affinity for combat by itself; however, when brought together through team work, the classes show real synergy.
Throughout the game, you will earn carrots. Use these to customize your character with the hottest fashions in Moru, from bulrush radio antennae to tactical banana pouches.
In a world where bunnies are the apex herbivores and carrots are the social, cultural, and economic lifeblood of society, two superpowers, the Rabbits’ Republic of Carrotia and the Commonwealth of Coneygarths, have been embroiled for decades in a cold war over the best way to manage the planet’s most economically, culturally, and agriculturally important resource: carrots.
Carrot reserves have dwindled following years of natural resources, waste, and shipping disasters; multiple years of poor harvests in key carrot-producing regions have placed additional strains on an already tenuous situation. The stalemate in which these two nations have found themselves has been waiting to erupt - until now.
Bunny Ops follows the military operations of two opposing tactical units in key hot zones shortly after the decades-long Cold Carrot War broke out into armed conflict.
