Abyssbound is a dark fantasy 1–4 player co-op action roguelite where every descent is different, and the voice in your head may be your greatest weapon… or your downfall.

Centuries ago, the Abyss was sealed during the legendary Last Seal War. Now the cracks have returned. Rotten energy seeps into forgotten halls, twists creatures, warps reality, and drags the dead back into motion.

You are an elite member of the Assassin of the Veil, a secret guild capable of forming a mental bond with fallen Veil Guardian spirits. Only those who carry such a spirit can withstand the Abyss without losing their mind.

Every run is a new descent. Every room shifts. Every Abyss Core you destroy pushes the world closer to salvation… and pulls you closer to the truth.

Choose Your Spirit. Shape Your Fate.

At the start of each run, choose from unique spirit personalities. Each spirit has its own passive buffs, dialogue style, and moral behavior:

• The Warrior: resilience, stamina, survival

• The Trickster: speed, crit chance, chaotic humor

• The Seer: perception, loot sense, insight

• The Executioner: brutal close-combat power

Your spirit speaks only to you. It can guide you… encourage you… or mock your failures.

Play well, and it becomes supportive, granting powerful buffs. Struggle, and it turns harsh, applying debuffs and psychological pressure.

Run-Based Progression

Every descent features:

• Randomized room sequences

• Shifting layouts, puzzles, and encounters

• Mini-boss and boss fights

• A Collapse Phase after destroying a Core

• Permanent upgrades unlocked when you die or escape

Each run is a self-contained adventure, but every failure makes you stronger.
