In search of a cure to a disease caused by the acid rain plaguing the planet, a doctor ventures to the remnants of an abandoned city only to find her childhood friend hiding away there first. Reconnected by circumstance and bound together by desperation, they must decide what to sacrifice for each other.
Aldebaran is a researcher who has failed to save anyone. Hyades is a scavenger living on the outskirts of the city. After going missing years ago, Aldebaran thought Hyades dead. Unable to leave her behind, Aldebaran ushers Hyades to follow her to safety, only to discover the truth of her friend's survival.
