Syntherion

SYNTHERION is in early development and seeking pre-alpha playtesters.

The game is a top-down space adventure shooter where ships are powered by music. Equip real synthwave tracks that fire your ship's weapons in sync with the instruments. The weapon visuals, timing, and functionality are designed by-hand to go with the work of real musicians.

Syntherion has been sub-genre morphing since its inception, but has finally found itself. Your input is still needed!

THE RULES ARE DIFFERENT IN SYNTH-SPACE

In an alternate dimension where music is energy... Collect the work of real artists and equip it to your ship. Each song has its own harmonic weapons signature.

A GROWING COLLECTION OF MUSIC

Music by 30+  real musicians. Powerups, weapon, nebulas are all bound to a synthwave or darksynth music including the bass, percussion, lead, and pads.  

UNIQUE WORLDS

Each parallel verse is a themed stretch of space with its own aesthetic, enemy roster, and musical palette.

JOURNEY ACROSS THE STARS

Tired of the fighting? Spend some time in normal space. Explore the civilization that cropped up around synth-space entry points. Do some space mining while listening to your growing playlist.

DOCK, UPGRADE, DEPART

Dock with friendly NPC capital ships and entities to gain unique weapon and ship upgrades
