About Strike Wings

SOL, 2205. The seventeenth year of the civil war. Earth has a church. Mars has a shipyard. Between them, the war.

Humanity broke out of Sol, fought two long wars against her own runaway daughters, and buried her dead by the millions. Earth drew inward until her churches became her government. Mars, Earth's first colony and her heaviest industrial base, refused to follow. In 2188 Mars broke from the Alliance and named itself after the insult Earth used to dismiss it: the Stepping Stone. The war that followed is the war you fly in.

AN HOMAGE TO THE CLASSIC DOS SPACE SHOOTERS

Strike Wings is a from-the-ground-up homage to the space shooters of the DOS era. Sandbox modes, scenarios, a campaign, a battle editor, full multiplayer: everything you wanted from those old games, bundled together and painted as light and fireworks on a pitch-black sky.

EVERY BATTLE IS A FLEET ACTION

Hundreds of ships on the field. Squadron-aware AI, ace promotions, carrier launches, search-and-rescue operations, and a kill feed that reads like a casualty list. Strike Wings plays from above, in the lineage of the classic top-down space sims, with Newtonian drift physics, subsystem damage, and ordnance that fills the sky.

  • 50+ warships, from disposable Ticks to Sovereign-class Dreadnaughts

  • A huge catalog of battles: convoy raids, civilian escorts, ambushes, dogfights, and giant fleet actions

  • Deep lore, with a full in-game encyclopedia and star map

  • Game modes to spare: Skirmish, Capture the Flag, Onslaught, and several flavors of attrition warfare, with a battle director that stages surprises mid-fight

  • 35+ weapons across Terran kinetics and Mars School beams: gatlings, rails, E-flux torpedoes, all the way up to experimental antimatter ordnance

  • 9 ship devices, including cloak, warp, pulse fields, orbital drones, and power absorbers

  • 250+ scenarios plus a full battle editor: build your own fleet actions in the sandbox and share them

  • Multiplayer over local LAN for the old-skool fans, or Steam matchmaking for everyone else

  • An expansive reward system: badges, medals, plates, and titles earned in the garage, plus prestige unlocks tied to an opt-in Elo rating for multiplayer. The top 100 ranked pilots enter "The Immortals"

  • A live permanent war: every mission you fly moves a shared front fed by every player, and the war ends only when Earth or Mars falls. Pick a side and push it to victory

  • The storm: a shrinking arena that closes every battle, so nobody can run away forever

  • Subsystem damage: strip shields, silence turrets, breach reactors, and break hulls into burning hulks

  • Squadron AI across 7 difficulty tiers that adapts mid-battle, with rivalries baked in. Shoot an elite's wingmen down too often and the elite will come hunting for you

  • Ship afflictions: set fighters on fire, force hull breaches, cook off ammo racks, short out electronics, or eat through armor with corrosive plasma

  • Wingman commands: a quick commo-rose sends your wing to attack, cover, rearm, or form up on you

  • 2-player co-op in local split-screen

STEAM MULTIPLAYER: 24-PILOT ATTRITION

Host a room or join one worldwide. Every online battle is attrition: ticket pools, respawn waves, and a scoreboard that remembers you after the shooting stops. Earn 450+ titles and 450+ plate backdrops for your pilot plate, and wear your record where the whole lobby can see it.

BREAK THE IMMOVABLE

Dreadnaughts, super carriers, starbases, lone fighters: every ship in the game can be taken apart subsystem by subsystem until it tears into burning hulks. And every starbase carries the Deathray. When the red designator paints your hull, move.
