Interdimensional rifts are tearing open across Neo-Veridia — inside train stations, shopping malls, and school classrooms. The government calls them gas leaks. They are not.

You are Kaelen, a high school student who survived a rift, killed what came through, and awakened a power nobody can explain: the ability to devour the shadows of slain monsters and command them as your own.

Now the rifts are getting worse. And you're the only one willing to go in.

WHAT IS DUNGEON BREAK?

DUNGEON BREAK/Shadow Legion is a dark, Manhwa-inspired RPG about monsters breaking through into a cyberpunk city and a person with the power — and the curse — to fight back. It combines turn-based dungeon combat with a story-driven visual novel structure, set across a 10-chapter narrative campaign.

COMBAT

Fight your way through rift dungeons in turn-based battles. Position Kaelen and his summoned shadows across four combat ranks. Manage a shared mana pool that doesn't regenerate between actions — every summon and every ability is a commitment.

Kill enemies to extract Shadow Essence. Claim the strongest as permanent servants. Sacrifice weaker shadows to strengthen the ones you keep. Build a roster and choose who fights with you before each dungeon run.

PROGRESSION

Every shadow you devour makes you more powerful — and accelerates a corruption that is physically and psychologically changing Kaelen. Grow your legion, unlock new abilities, and push deeper into increasingly dangerous rifts as the threat escalating across the city reaches a breaking point.

STORY

Navigate a conspiracy involving a government cover-up, a black market built on rift materials, and foreign powers competing for resources only found inside dungeons. The people around Kaelen — his sick sister, his employer, the agent hunting him — all have stakes in what he becomes. The story is told through voiced visual novel sequences between dungeon runs.
