About Backrooms: Overstay

Backrooms: Overstay is a co-op survival horror game set in an endless, procedurally generated Backrooms. Explore, scavenge, and survive solo or with up to 8 players while you search for the way out.

Endless procedural levels. The yellow, humming Level 0 generates endlessly around you, with no edges and nothing repeating. Every run is seeded, so share a seed to play the same map with friends.
Stealth against four hunters. Each enemy hunts differently and has a weakness you learn: stay unlit, stay quiet, or stay out of sight. Weapons only stagger them, so running and hiding beat fighting.
Survival and sanity. Manage hunger, thirst, stamina, warmth, and health. Rising stress brings hallucinations and false sounds.
Craft and build. Gather materials, unlock blueprints, build and reinforce a shelter, set traps, and crawl into the vent network to break line of sight.
8-player online co-op. Positional proximity voice chat the monsters can hear, plus solo play and optional PvP.
Your rules. Calm, Normal, or Cruel difficulty, optional permadeath, and a real goal: reach the exit and escape, or get kept forever.
