Deep in the mountains lies a treasure hoard gathered by a dragon over centuries. You are its new keeper, entrusted with everything inside.

Open the doors and the customers begin to arrive. Some are searching for a particular treasure. Some bring in relics that need careful restoration. Others want something forged from scratch.

The job sounds simple: understand what they truly need, then deliver the right result. Do it well and the shop prospers. Rush the work, and the gold begins to thin out — while the dragon’s tribute still comes due on schedule.

Across one hundred days, you can grow from keeper to appraiser, and from appraiser to artisan.

Or fail somewhere along the way.

🔍 Appraisal — no answer key, only evidence

An unidentified treasure is placed on your counter. Nothing tells you what it is.

You have six appraisal tools, but no single tool gives you the full answer.

• Strike the piece with a hammer and read the spark. It narrows the material down, but never identifies it by itself.
  
• Place it on the magic scale to reveal its weight and the mana sealed within.
  
• Cross-check those readings to isolate the true material.
  
• Use the magnifier to study wear and age.
  
• Test a suspected element with the crystal orb.
  
• Move into darkness and shine the UV lamp across the surface to reveal what the treasure appears to be — and the marks left by anyone who wanted it to look that way.

Record six findings: surface material, true material, era, element, rarity, and any anomaly you uncovered.

Get the evidence right and the appraisal fee is yours. Guess carelessly, and the mistake comes out of your pocket.

🎭 Some treasures are lying to you

A forgery does not break the rules. It exploits them.

One material may coat the surface while another hides underneath. The tools still tell the truth — the readings simply refuse to agree.

A surface glows like dragonscale, but the spark says otherwise. The weight lands far from where it should. Under the UV lamp, a gilding seam appears. A patch of overpaint. A solder mark someone hoped you would overlook.

Every forgery leaves at least one honest clue.

Finding it is the hard part.

And the longer you keep the job, the subtler the lies become.

⚒️ Forge — heat, hammer, quench

Crafting is hands-on. You do not simply choose a recipe and wait.

Heat it. Select a material block, place it in the forge, and work the bellows. Every material has its own ideal colour range, and no gauge tells you when you have reached it. Push too far and the metal loses quality.

Hammer it. Carry the glowing workpiece to the anvil and strike. Only blows landed while the metal is hot will shape it, and it keeps cooling as you work. Back to the forge. Back to the anvil. That rhythm is the craft.

Quench it. Pour an elemental essence into the trough, then plunge the piece at the right moment. Quench too late and the element barely takes.

Three stages. Three scores. One final grade: masterwork, fine, ordinary, or crude.

Even a crude piece can sell.

Just not for much.

🧼 Restore — bring back its shine by hand

Time leaves every relic with its own problems: dust, stains, worn surfaces, stubborn grime.

Study the material, choose the right tool, and work through each blemish one by one. Use a gentle brush on delicate surfaces. Bring out something stronger when the dirt refuses to move.

Choose badly and you leave a scratch.

And every scratch lowers the price.

✨ Treasures that feel real in your hands

The shop and cavern are painted in a warm storybook style, but the treasures themselves are rendered in lifelike detail.

Polished metal catches the light. Cut gems glow from within. Centuries of wear remain visible across every surface.

Pick each treasure up. Turn it over. Study the marks.

Handling the object is half the pleasure of understanding it.

🐉 The dragon is keeping score

Customers are not the only ones watching.

The owner of the hoard is watching too.

Tribute comes due on fixed days, and it grows heavier as the campaign continues. Fall behind and there are consequences.

Earn the dragon’s trust — through the care you show its hoard, not merely the gold you bring in — and the burden begins to ease. Rarer treasures reach your counter. New stories are shared. The relationship changes.

After one hundred days, nine different endings await, shaped by the keeper you became: how sharp your appraisals were, how carefully you treated each piece, and how you handled the dragon itself.

There is more than one way to end well.

There is also one very easy way not to.

After the campaign, Endless Mode keeps the doors open without tribute.

📈 A growing shop, and ever more difficult mysteries

Spend your earnings to expand the shop and improve your tools.

As the business grows, the customers change — and so do the treasures. New categories unlock one by one, while the objects on your appraisal table become harder to identify.

Yesterday’s impossible relic becomes today’s quick read.

Then something stranger arrives.

🏮 The night cavern — a quiet moment to breathe

When the day’s work is done, take a lantern into the caverns beneath the hoard.

Explored in first person, the cavern is the quietest part of the game: warm lantern light, crystal veins shimmering across the walls, and hand-painted scenes waiting beyond every fork.

Gather materials. Find a treasure glinting in the dark. Meet the occasional customer who only appears below ground.

No timer. No score.

Just a slow walk to close out the day.

⚔️ Some days are different

The Dragon’s Trial tests appraisal, restoration, and forging in a single competition. It returns several times throughout the campaign, so one strong specialty will not carry you forever.

And on certain nights, raiders come for the hoard.

What stands between them and the treasure are the pieces you forged with your own hands.
