Loot Farming

• Gear Progression: Rarity, random affixes, rune sockets, Runewords, Affinity Bonds, and gear enhancement—everything you need to satisfy your appetite for gear.

• Affinity Bond System: Affixes of the same type across different pieces of gear form an Affinity Bond. Collect enough gear with the same affix to activate the Affinity Bond set bonus.

• Countless Build Combinations: With over 1,000 base items, over 35 Bond types, and over 100 Runewords, you can create countless builds: swordplay, magic, hybrid, ranged, face-tanking, hit-and-run looting, and farming for money, loot, or experience—your gear determines your fighting style.

• Gear Crafting: Besides monster drops, you can obtain blueprints from chests to craft gear and rare items. Gather materials on hit-and-run runs and forge high-end equipment.

• Satisfying Farming: Massive enemy groups, crowd-control skills, powerful AoE, and fluid action keep you awake while farming loot.

• Endless Challenges: After defeating the boss of the current floor, you can refresh it and continue into the dungeon. The monsters become stronger, but their drops also become better. Think you're unstoppable?

Search, Loot, and Extract

• Free Exploration: Enter a randomly generated dungeon and move freely through every room except boss rooms. There is no need to clear every room by force.

• Scavenge Resources: Search chests for runes, potions, and materials—every item you find can make you stronger.

• Extraction Mechanic: Each floor has multiple extraction rooms, including hidden extraction rooms and clearly marked extraction rooms. After extracting, you take all collected items with you.

• Death Penalty: All items in your backpack drop on death. Equipped gear does not drop, but its durability is reduced to zero.

• Corpse Recovery: On your next run, your corpse appears in a random room so you can recover your lost supplies. If you die again before recovering them, they are lost forever. (You can use stealth and speed—as long as you do not do anything reckless, you can recover them.)

After every floor boss fight, you will face the same agonizing question: should you take your gains and leave, or risk everything and continue deeper?

Roguelite

To reward clearing rooms, Grimspire includes a very light roguelike experience:

• Artifacts: Powerful artifacts found during a run that provide drop bonuses, increased experience, and other functions or mechanics.

• Room Clear Rewards: Clearing each room grants a artifact of random quality. Reward rooms can provide high-quality relics.

• Artifacts are active only during the current run. They disappear on death or extraction, but can be carried into the next floor through Endless Challenges. (Now that's unstoppable.)

Will you extract safely with your spoils, or risk everything and carry your artifacts into the next floor? That is the question.

Action Combat

• Gear is Your Skill Kit: Skills are bound to equipment. Switch gear to instantly switch your skill set.

• Multiple Playstyles: Play a mage and cast spells from range, stand your ground and launch a brutal assault, or become a sneaky scavenger who uses stealth to loot chests.

• Fluid Controls: Skill interrupts, movement abilities, crowd-control AoE, single-target bursts, and invulnerable-frame dodges—smooth handling and satisfying combos.

• Combo System: Study and create your own combo chains to deal oppressive damage.

Elemental System

Beyond Physical and Magic damage, you can also wield four elemental attributes. Every elemental hit applies its corresponding effect. Each element has a distinct combat mechanic that can synergize with others and form a build:

• Fire: Builds Fervor, increasing movement and attack speed — Auto-attack / Attack-speed builds

• Lightning: Stacks Vulnerability on the target, increasing damage taken — Skill-burst builds

• Poison: Stacks damage-over-time layers that deal damage as they expire — Combo / Stacking builds

• Ice: Reduces the target's action speed — Crowd-control / Kiting builds

Gear affixes and runes can grant and enhance elemental attributes.

Base System

Upgrade the NPCs in your base with the materials you farm. Upgraded NPCs provide more powerful functions and sell better items.

Game Background

Legend says that at the edge of the world stands a colossal tower that does not belong to the mortal realm—the Grimspire.

No one knows where it came from. Some say it is the gateway to Hell. Others call it the ruins of an ancient seal. Still others believe it is calamity made manifest—the Abyss seeping into the mortal world through it, floor after floor, without end. Countless adventurers have entered. None have returned.

You play as the forgotten Eldritch Knight Kaelos, stepping into the tower once more. Reality twists within its walls, time and space fall out of alignment, and lost souls roam as monsters. No one knows what awaits at the top. You only know this: to leave alive, you must climb. Floor by floor.

Reach the top, and you may find a way out. Or perhaps the summit is simply another entrance to the Abyss.

Enter the Abyss and face it head-on. Every adventure is a brand-new epic—and you are the one who writes it.
