About Dawn Sanatorium
A reel came to me in the mail. I'm inside it — a childhood I don't remember at all.
The Dawn Sanatorium closed decades ago. Yet a strip of old film has led you back through its doors, into corridors that only your flashlight can hold back. Somewhere in the dark is a name you've forgotten — and something that remembers you.
Dawn Sanatorium is a slow-burn, first-person psychological horror about memory, identity, and the things a mind buries to survive. Play a reel and the walls rearrange. Search the dormitory for the bed that was yours. Descend to the morgue for a body that was never there. Every fragment you recover pulls the truth closer — and pushes it further out of reach.
You are not being chased. You are being watched. The Horned One does not run. He simply appears — behind you, at a door, in the flicker of the reel — and if you hold his gaze too long, you unravel. In the pitch-black basement, a blind thing hunts by sound; press yourself into a drawer and pray it doesn't hear you breathe. And in the rooms you light up, a nightmare waits for the beam to find it.
Piece the memories together. Reach the bottom of the sanatorium. Learn what really happened here — and to you.
Best played with headphones, in a dark room.
