About Police Adventure

Police Adventure — Game Summary

Police Adventure is a grounded, semi-realistic 2D top-down police management and adventure game set in the 1990s. The player takes command of a police station, managing its officers, finances, equipment, patrol coverage, facilities, research, and mission response.

Core gameplay

The main gameplay loop is:

Hire officers → buy and assign equipment → organize patrols → deploy teams on missions → earn money and reputation → improve the station → handle increasingly difficult incidents.

Players can physically explore the police station as the police chief, move in eight directions, interact with desks and terminals, and use the command desk to access the main management systems.

Police-station management

The player is responsible for:

  • Hiring and managing officers with individual skills, salaries, health, experience, rank, and equipment.

  • Purchasing weapons, armor, medical supplies, investigation tools, and utility equipment.

  • Managing station inventory and creating officer loadouts.

  • Assigning officers to four patrol districts.

  • Monitoring income, expenses, salaries, mission rewards, patrol revenue, and station costs.

  • Unlocking 15 research projects, including officer training, firearms qualification, crisis negotiation, advanced forensics, and tactical command.

  • Constructing station facilities such as armory racks, a Training Room, and a Crime Laboratory.

  • Managing time through daily and weekly progression.

  • Saving and loading multiple campaign slots.

The station currently includes a Ground Floor and First Floor connected by an interactive elevator. The First Floor contains the upgraded Training Room and Crime Laboratory.

Missions

The current build contains seven missions:

  • Officer Qualification Course – firearms training for two officers.

  • Convenience Store Standoff – rescue a clerk and resolve an armed robbery.

  • East District Search Warrant – lead a multi-officer narcotics raid.

  • Hawthorn Apartments Disturbance – respond to a dangerous domestic disturbance.

  • Stolen Sedan Pursuit – manage a vehicle pursuit.

  • Riverside Warehouse Alarm – investigate and secure a warehouse incident.

  • Missing Child Search – coordinate officers and resources to locate a missing child.

Three missions use directly playable tactical environments, while four use the decision-and-event system. Decision missions present incidents one event at a time, allowing the player to choose different approaches based on officer skills, equipment, risk, and available resources.

Mission outcomes can affect:

  • Money

  • Reputation

  • Officer experience

  • Injuries and recovery

  • Arrests

  • Evidence

  • Suspect escapes

  • Equipment condition

  • Future mission availability

Progression and replayability

Officers improve through experience and can be promoted. Better equipment, research, training, station facilities, and team composition increase the chances of successful mission outcomes, but strong teams do not guarantee success.

Missions have officer requirements, risk levels, cooldowns, equipment recommendations, and facility bonuses. Some missions are repeatable, although repeated completion may provide reduced rewards.

The game also includes achievement-ready systems with achievements for completing individual missions, winning a first deployment, and completing the full mission set.
